Another exciting dog in Candy's pedigree is her Grandmother "Maria" who is mother of Victoria. I am proud to say as of 11-17 Maria is 11 years 9 months old. Maria is the senior Matriarch of the Holiday Bernese Mountain Dogs. She has produced several Champions and has great longevity. You can also see Maria on the Retired page on our website. Candy's pedigree is 100% European with her lineage coming from Belgium, Czechoslovakia, and Norway . Candy's sire is Jesse James and you can read about him on his page. That was a fun adventure when we got him from the great "Hiselfoss" kennel in Norway.
In Candy's bloodline there are dogs with impeccable movement and driven rears. We were thrilled and honored to find out Candy received EXCELLENT Hips like her father Jesse. It is not easy to receive an Excellent from OFA...so we were very happy with her results~! She too is a beautiful moving dog~!
Candy is a wonderful mother like her mother was to her~! It will be fun to pass on this amazing lineage of Bernese Mountain Dogs~
