CH Jesse James av Hiselfoss
 
Jesse James is a dream come true for me~!   He is everything I would want to see in a dog.   He has amazing movement, amazing temperament, amazing structure and an amazing pedigree~! 
In July of 2011 I was fortunate enough to go to the World Dog show in Paris and took my handler Jeni West with me.

We took a day trip and flew to Oslo, Norway where we got a bus ticket and drove 2 hours North so we could meet Gro Solberg, owner of the Hiselfoss Kennel.  Below are some photos looking out the back door of Gro and her husband's summer cottage.

We were able to meet Int CH OLA ODELSGUTT AV HISELFOSS, who would be the future sire of my JESSE JAMES.  Jesse was just a twinkle in "Ola's" eye at that time.   Ola is one of the most outstanding and accomplished Berners I have ever been around~!   He currently at 7 years old is still winning BEST IN SHOWS~!He has 28 Best In Shows as of June 13th, 2012 and I don't see him stopping~!   Here is a picture of Ola below towards evening at Gro's summer house on the Ocean in Norway.

Ola has the most awesome temperament and THE BEST HEAD I have ever seen on a Berner~!

 Gro and her husband were such gracious hosts and made Jeni and I the best meal we had in Europe~!

Jeni and I had the best time visiting with Gro and her husband and playing with her beautiful dogs~!   Our trip was way too short, and hoping to visit again and stay much longer in the beautiful country of Norway~!  Before we left,  Gro gave both Jeni and I a Norway souvenir.   These are Berner dolls that ladies throughout the year knit for trophies at the shows in Norway.  They have a male version and a female version.  Here is a female one below sitting on my shelf.  How cool is that~!

It was truly an amazing trip and I will always cherish the memories~!   And now, I have this HANDSOME, MAJESTIC, SWEET boy Jesse James that I can only hope and dream will be everything is father is~! 
Jesse has a wonderful rear like his father~!  He has flashy color like his mom, BEDÅRENDE BODIL AV HISELFOSS   I did not get to meet her in person as she lives with friends of Gro's.   However, I do know very well her littermate " GCH CH Beowulf av Hiselfoss"  who is an outstanding dog in all aspects of a Berner~!  He has just completed his Grand Championship and siring some great dogs in the USA~!   Beo and Bodil's mother is  Int CH ENSLIGE EVELINA AV HISELFOSS she also is a very accomplished bitch and one of Gro's favorite dogs of all time~!  Jesse's temperament comes from both parents being just as sweet and loving as can be~!  
I have great hopes and expectations of Jesse, we are taking our time with him and letting him mature slowly.  He will start his show career later this year or beginning of next year.  I only want the best for him and enjoying every minute I get to spend with him.  He loves to play with his friends, eat blueberries, go for walks and sit under the shade tree with me and let me scratch his belly~! 
I am truly in love with this puppy and look forward to our future and life together~!   A sincere thank you to Gro and her husband for the hospitality and the faith in me to send Jesse James across the ocean to live with my family~!
