PEDIGREE  

Here is where a mistake was made... Roxy was then to travel to Chicago where I was to pick her up with the help of a friend who is familiar with Chicago Cargo and live animals.  I was meeting him in Rockford, IL with Roxy on Friday as she was arriving at 11 am.   My friend called me when I was expecting him to tell me he had Roxy and said.."We have a problem"~!   My heart fell to my knees thinking the worst :(   He said, "Roxy is on her way to Los Angeles"~!  I was like "WHAT"~!   We came to find out that Frankfurt, Germany didn't do their job and checked her through to Los Angeles with a group of dogs that were going there.  Instead of looking at her crate individually that had stickers and paperwork's stating she was to stop at Chicago~!   Immediately we all were on the phone with Lufthansa to make sure Roxy was well taken care of and to get her back to Chicago.   Lufthansa here in the US were very good to work with and knew they made a HUGE mistake~!   I was on the phone and found out who exactly was going to pick up Roxy and make sure she had food and water and clean.   I got to speak to Carlos who was the manager and said he would call when she arrived and would personally handle things and go clear her customs so they could get  her out of the crate.   We anxiously awaited the phone call to make sure all was well~   Roxy arrived and all was well and she was in his office eating and drinking~!  Whew~!   Well, then the arrangements to get her back to Chicago.  She had to spend the night in L.A. and then made an early morning flight back to Chicago where my friend picked her up.  It was a good feeling when he called me to tell me he had Roxy and she was bouncing around happy and acted like this whole experience was no big deal~!   Then an hour trip to meet me in Rockford.   Tom pulled up with her and I couldn't open the door fast enough to meet her~!   She was beautiful and perfect and such a fun happy loving girl~!   She took everything in stride and was having fun playing with the toys we bought her and enjoying the soil of the USA~!  

Roxy truly is a ROCKSTAR~!   She is all that and more according to her..LOL   Roxy's breeder, Andrina, told me she is a hippopotamus and loves water....yes she does...she runs around and then jumps in the pool and runs around some more and runs in the pool...she just loves it~!  Thank you Andrina for sending such a lovely puppy and entrusting Roxy to me~!

Roxy has very exciting pedigree with several International Champions including her father, "Int CH Flames of Steal From Orsina's Land" who just recently acquired his International  Champion Status~!  Her mother is a lovely example of a Bernese Mountain  Dog female with good structure and style and type.    Roxy has beautiful movement as she glides across the ground which comes from her good Orthopedics in her pedigree.  We are very excited to get her into the Show Ring in a few months~!   Watch out world here comes ......ROXY THE ROCKSTAR~!
